Sign this petition to demand Snapchat upgrade their user experience by offering a more personalized customer service experience with real representatives that offer customized help and access to more information regarding banned and locked accounts/devices. Having these suddenly taken away without knowing if you’ll ever have access again is detrimental. Even their customer service does not offer any assistance beyond pre-written responses and articles.įor many users, Snapchat has been their #1 social media platform, holding many irreplaceable memories and images. Neither their Community Guidelines, nor Terms of Service, outline the specifics of what the ban means for the user (length of time, severity, etc.), and there is no mention of the banning of devices, although it is pertinent that is does occur. Without this information, it is impossible for users to know what term was violated, if any at all, when they find themselves in this situation. For years, Snapchat has been temporarily and permanently banning, locking, and deleting user accounts and/or devices with no warning or reason given.
